These terms apply when you shop at gårdisto.com. The seller and your contracting party is Gårdisto AB, company registration number 559532-4806, VAT registration number SE559532480601, Stockholmsvägen 164E, 187 32 Täby, Sweden ("Gårdisto", "we", "us" or "our").
Shopify provides the technical platform for our store. Every purchase contract is made directly between you and Gårdisto AB. Mandatory consumer rights always take precedence over these terms.
1. Products and product information
We aim to describe materials, measurements, colours and workmanship accurately. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen and its settings. Current prices, availability, material composition and any certifications are stated on the product page.
We may correct obvious typing, pricing and technical errors to the extent permitted by law. Where an error affects an order, we will contact you before processing it whenever possible.
2. Orders and contracts
When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we send the order confirmation by email.
Where mandatory law permits, we may decline or cancel an order for a justified reason such as an obvious pricing error, unavailable stock, a payment problem, a technical error or a well-founded suspicion of fraud. If payment has already been taken, we will refund it without undue delay. This does not limit any rights you have under mandatory law.
You must have legal capacity to make the purchase or the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required. You are responsible for providing correct contact, delivery and payment details. Customer accounts use email and a one-time code; keep access to your email secure.
3. Prices and payment
The price and currency shown at checkout apply to your order. Applicable VAT is included in the displayed prices. Delivery charges and any other charges are shown before you confirm your order.
We currently deliver to Sweden, Norway and Finland.
- Sweden: tracked standard delivery is free.
- Norway: tracked standard delivery costs 99 NOK.
- Finland: tracked standard delivery with DHL costs €9.95.
For eligible VOEC goods with a value below 3,000 NOK per individual item, Norwegian VAT is collected at checkout. The value limit applies per item, not to the total order. For correctly declared VOEC shipments, import VAT, customs duty and the carrier's customs-clearance fee should normally not be charged again on delivery. Goods outside the VOEC scheme, including items valued at 3,000 NOK or more, are subject to ordinary Norwegian import rules; any applicable additional charges will be explained before purchase.
The delivery options and payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by external payment providers. Gårdisto does not store complete card details.
4. Delivery
Orders are dispatched from our fulfilment partner in Värnamo, Sweden. We deliver using the method and estimated time shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. If no specific delivery time has been agreed, we deliver without undue delay and within the maximum period required by mandatory law.
The risk of loss or damage remains with Gårdisto until you, or a person you have designated other than the carrier, physically receive the goods. Ownership passes once full payment has been received, without affecting your mandatory consumer rights.
5. Right of withdrawal and voluntary returns
Consumers normally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, counted from the day after receipt of the goods. If items in one order are delivered separately, the period starts on the day after the last item is received. You must notify us within that period and send the goods back without undue delay, no later than 14 days after your notice.
Gårdisto also offers a separate voluntary return period for days 15–30, subject to the conditions in our Return and Refund Policy. This voluntary benefit does not limit your statutory withdrawal rights or rights concerning faulty goods.
You can notify us through your customer account or by a clear email to support@gardisto.eu. Statutory withdrawal does not require our approval. You arrange and pay for ordinary return shipping; we do not charge a fixed return fee. For a valid complaint about a faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied item, we cover necessary return-shipping costs.
The Return and Refund Policy explains the deadlines, permitted handling of goods, voluntary-return conditions, refunds and the return address. For statutory withdrawal of the entire purchase, the refund includes our least expensive standard delivery option. Refunds are due within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, although we may wait until we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent.
6. Faulty goods and complaints
If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, contact us within a reasonable time after discovering the problem. Include your order number, describe the fault and, if possible, attach photographs.
A valid complaint is handled through repair, replacement, a price reduction, a refund or other remedy as required by applicable mandatory consumer law. Gårdisto covers necessary return and replacement-delivery costs. These terms never limit your statutory rights in your country of residence.
Where Swedish mandatory consumer law applies, you normally have three years from receipt to complain about an original defect; a complaint within two months of discovering the defect is always timely. Where Finnish mandatory consumer law applies, liability for defects is not limited to a fixed period; it is assessed in light of the reasonably expected lifetime of the goods. Norwegian consumers normally have a two-year complaint period, extended to five years for goods intended to last substantially longer than two years; a complaint within two months of discovering the defect is always timely.
7. Intellectual property
Text, photographs, graphics, designs, logos, trademarks and other website content belong to Gårdisto AB or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. They may not be copied, published or used commercially without written permission, except as permitted by law.
8. Permitted use of the website
You must not use the website for unlawful purposes, distribute malicious code, attempt unauthorised access or otherwise disrupt the website or infringe other users' rights.
9. Shopify and personal data
Shopify hosts this store and processes personal data when you browse or shop here. Shopify Network Intelligence also supports services using information from your interactions with this store, other merchants and Shopify. Information is shared with Shopify and service providers that may be in other countries.
Our Privacy Policy explains this processing and your choices. See also Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify's privacy portal. Accepting these purchase terms does not constitute consent to optional cookies or personalised advertising.
10. Liability
We are responsible for our products and commitments under mandatory law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen when the contract was made. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights where such a limitation is prohibited.
11. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. This choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter. Swedish consumers may then contact Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). Consumers in Finland may seek advice from KKV Consumer Advisory Services and take an unresolved matter to the Consumer Disputes Board. Consumers in Norway may seek help with a cross-border complaint from Forbruker Europa. You always retain the right to bring a claim before a competent court under applicable mandatory law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version in force when you placed your order continues to apply to that purchase.
